Carnaval de San Anto has been described as

“AN  AVALANCHE ”, once they start drumming and dancing no one can stand in their way, everyone starts dancing!

 

Carnaval de San Anto is San Antonio's award winning community street dance and drumming group. Performing to the carnival rhythms of samba, reggae and cumbias, these dancers and drummers bring the exciting colors and sounds of Bahia and the Caribbean to everyone's celebrations. Crossing lines of gender, class, race, and religion, and breaking the prejudice barriers of size, age, and beauty, Carnaval de San Anto reaches out to the magical spirit in each of us.
